This page summarizes the present legal and data-handling position of the site. Project repositories and individual releases remain the authority for their own license terms.
Entity disclosure
No separate foundation exists yet.
Hyphae Research Foundation is an initiative in formation, currently incubated and operated by Celiums Solutions LLC. The LLC acts as organizer, interim custodian, funder, and operator; it does not own a foundation, and no separate foundation entity exists yet. “Incorporator” applies only when named in executed formation filings.
Foundation-bound assets remain legally owned by their current holders until written custody designations and separate transfer instruments are executed and the formed foundation accepts them. “Custody” describes an internal stewardship designation, not a legal trust unless counsel prepares and executes one. This site does not create a trust, transfer title, confer tax-exempt status, or bind a future board.
Funds during formation
Commercial work and charitable support remain separate.
Celiums Solutions LLC may enter commercial contracts, support arrangements, and sponsorship agreements in its own legal name while formation continues. Those payments are LLC revenue under their stated terms and are not represented as charitable or tax-deductible donations.
The LLC does not solicit or accept donations “to Hyphae Research Foundation.” Charitable support during transition may be accepted only through an approved fiscal sponsor, shown as the legal recipient beside the payment action, with its fees, restrictions, privacy terms, receipts, and reporting obligations disclosed.
Hyphae-related revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities, contracts, and allocations are to be maintained separately within the LLC so a future transfer can be reconciled and audited. No donation or sponsorship button is currently active.
Licenses
License follows the identified work and release.
Current Hyphae software and implementable normative specifications are licensed under Apache License 2.0. Narrative documentation is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0. Immutable historical releases retain their original terms, including AGPL-3.0-only for Hyphae v1.1.0.
Hyphae Transformer source is licensed under the MIT License as stated in its repository. Third-party papers, models, checkpoints, tokenizers, corpora, dependencies, and marks retain their own terms and are not relicensed merely because the framework can evaluate or process them.
Hyphae BitNet product code outside the vendored runtime is Apache-2.0. Microsoft BitNet, llama.cpp, GGML, model artifacts, and vendored portions retain their identified MIT or other applicable terms. Model compatibility does not transfer ownership or license model files.
The code for this website and original machine-readable brand assets is licensed under Apache-2.0. Original editorial copy is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0 unless a file states otherwise.

Source availability does not grant a trademark license.
The Hyphae name, product logotypes, symbol, visual identity, and brand assets are currently owned by Celiums Solutions LLC and are governed separately from project code. Reasonable and customary use may identify the official project, describe compatibility accurately, or link to it. Use must not imply sponsorship, certification, ownership, or official release status.
The proposed Hyphae Research Foundation identity on this site is a working institutional identity. Its eventual ownership and usage policy will be recorded as part of foundation formation. PyTorch, ReZero, WikiText, enwiki8, and other third-party names remain marks or works of their respective holders; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
Privacy
This static site collects no form data and sets no analytics cookies.
As built, the site contains no accounts, forms, analytics, advertising, trackers, or externally hosted fonts. The hosting provider may process ordinary request metadata such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, time, and security logs under its own operational policy. That provider and retention period must be named before public deployment.
Following external links subjects visitors to the destination's privacy practices. If a mailing list, contact form, analytics tool, donation system, or other processor is added, this notice must be revised before collection begins.
